Hurricane Katrina Affects Military Families

USA Cares is involved in helping militarily families that have been affected by Hurricane Katrina. In fact, the American Red Cross has referred these families to USA Cares. WE NEED YOUR HELP. With funds flowing to help the Red Cross, our funding has dried up but we are determined to keep our military families at the top of our list. You can help by logging on to our website: www.usacares.us. Join our Star Program or may we suggest the purchase of a USA Cares coffee mug, made by the craftsmen at Louisville Stoneware. All proceeds go to help our military families.

USA Cares Radio Spots

To our friends in radio:
7 September 2005

Reference: Public Service Announcements

We have learned over the last two and a half years, that the most powerful media to reach Americans with a request for support for our non-profit organization is through the radio. We have created a number of Public Service Announcements for your consideration and use.

If you have any questions about who we are, or what we do, please visit our website at www.usacares.us or call our Operation Support Center, 270-351-8043, and we will be glad to talk to you.

If you would like to interview us live or on tape, we would be more than happy to accommodate those requests. We are usually here from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. Later interviews are okay too, please call for coordination.

Respectfully,

Roger Stradley
